Congratulations Nathan!


Congratulations to Nathan Page, a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and 9th Grade student at Union Grove Christian School, for placing 3rd in the American Association of Christian Schools National Fine Arts Preaching Competition. This event was held last week at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. There were 17 participants in this category from across the nation who advanced from their state competitions. Nathan preached an expository sermon.

It is a privilege to serve as Nathan's pastor. It is a blessing to observe his love for the Lord and his testimony for the Lord. Please pray for him as he seeks the Lord's will for his life. I am proud of him and all our church and school youth who love and serve the Lord!

Wow!! I had no idea he was only a freshman! It will be wonderful to see what God has in store for this young man.

I can still remember Pastor as he preached his first sermon at UGBC on New Year's eve. What a great job he did than. I said that day he was going to make a great preacher one day and I was right.

I am proud of Nathan also. What a joy it is to watch our young people grow in the Lord and serve Him in whatever job He has for them. Used of God that's what we need to always be.
