Dear Church Family and Friends,

Victory Banquet - Friday, May 1st @ 7:00 PM - Gym
This is a church-wide event for teens and adults who are members, regular attenders, visitors, or friends of Union Grove Baptist Church. We will be distributing the Faith In Action Brochure, explaining in further detail how everyone can put their faith into action, and Dr. David Wood will be preaching.

Purchase Your Tickets Today!
The tickets for the banquet are $1.00 per person and can be purchased after each service and the Bible Fellowship Hour. Tables are located at the front steps of the sanctuary and in the breezeway. Tickets will be available through Wednesday, April 30th, but if you would, please purchase your tickets today.

Invite Your Family & Friends
You can also purchase tickets for family and friends to attend the banquet. When you purchase a ticket for a guest you will be given an invitation to give to them. Please see Lori Beard if you have any questions.

Victory Banquet Free Childcare will be provided for Infants - 6th Grade
When you purchase your tickets please let them know if you have children that will need childcare.

Victory Banquet Table Host and/or Hostess Needed
If you as an individual or couple would be willing to host a table at the Victory Banquet, please plan to meet tonight for a few minutes in the Hospitality Room following the Evening Service. The responsibilities you will have are not demanding and will be fully explained. We will need possibly as many as 50 volunteers. If you cannot attend the meeting tonight, please contact Sonya Holt at swholt@bellsouth.net or 764-2103, Ext. 301.

Victory Sunday - Sunday, May 3rd
Dr. David Wood will be preaching during the 8:45 am, 11:00 am and 6:00 pm services. This will be an exciting day as we celebrate what God has done and what He has in store for our church family. Invite your family and friends to worship with us.

Faith in Action Commitments
“Not Equal Giving but Equal Sacrifice”

As you are determining your commitment to the FIA it is important to understand that you can give a one time gift and/or a gift over a three year period above your regular tithes and offerings. Please use these helpful guidelines as you determine your gift.

Pray — prepare your heart to respond to God’s call to action. Ask Him what He would have you to give, and be willing to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Leave Room For Faith — Trust God to provide what He wants you to give. Expect the unbelievable.

Give Joyfully & Sacrificially — Scripture teaches us to be cheerful givers. There is absolutely no limit to what God will do if we commit ourselves to sacrificial giving.

Thank You
Thanks to all the volunteers that helped with the men’s and the ladies’ breakfast meeting. Your willing and joyful service is greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank those who attended the breakfast meetings. It was a blessing to be able to spend this time of fellowship and vision casting with you.

Congratulations
Congratulations to Nathan Page, a member of UGBC and student at UGCS, for placing 3rd in the American Association of Christian Schools National Fine Arts Preaching Competition. This event was held this week at Bob Jones University. There were 16 participants in this category from across the nation. I also want to thank Mrs. Corbett for her excellent leadership of our UGCS Sr. High Fine Arts.
